you may not have thought a lot about your payment processing. Now, I know that doesn't sound too

exciting. Payment processing. That's on the next episode of the Flip Lifestyle podcast, payment processing.

But here's the deal, y'all. Here's the deal. If you can't process a payment, you don't have a business, period, online or offline. And if you don't know about payment processing, you can get yourself into trouble. Like there's some horror stories and things that can happen if you're not paying attention to your payment processing. It's not just getting something that will work. That's not how it works. Like, did you know that a payment processor at any time for any reason can just turn your payment processing off? They can just decide, man, we're not going to work with you anymore. And then you're not able to take payments. You're not able to let people give you money. You're not able to sell your courses. You're not able to sell your coaching. You're not able to sell your membership communities. Like you're not able to do it if you can't process payments. And they have the power to just turn you off. And a lot of times with these payment processors, you don't even have the ability to ask them a question or talk to them or ask them why. And did you know that the payment processor at any time can just take all your payments, collect them and hold them indefinitely 60, 90, 120 days. I know that these things happen because they've happened to me and Jocelyn and even flip lifestyle in the past. One time, we had a payment processor hold $50,000 and they just said, we'll give it back to you when we decide to. And there's just nothing you can do about it. And we had nobody to like represent us. We didn't have anybody that was there that could be our payment process or could be our liaison could be that person for us. We didn't know about how payment processing really could affect your business in both the most positive ways possible and the most negative ways. And you know, if you look out on the landscape of the digital payment processing world,

you know, we all know that there's fees for having a payment processor. Like if you sign up for

Striper, you sign up for PayPal, you know, you'll go to their website and they'll say, hey,

you know, we get 2.9% plus 30 cents a transaction or something. Like they're just taking, like,

if you make $100, nope, you make $97. Like so if you get a business that grows

and scales, these payment processors take a ton of the money. But I found out that there was

better ways to do it. I found out there was ways to pay less on your payment processing. I found

out that there are ways to keep them from holding your money. I found out there were ways to get

your money back if they did hold it.
