Danny Schaefer was involved in professional baseball from 1981 through 2019.

He had an 18-year playing career.

Seven years he was at the Major League level with the Boston Red Sox, Cleveland, Colorado, and the St. Louis Cardinals.

Then, when his playing career was over, he spent another 22 years in professional baseball.

He managed at every minor league level, and he was also a catching coordinator for both
