Summary

In this week's edition of Keefer and the Beats, Zak dives into three potential playoff teams with The Athletic NFL beat writers Michael-Shawn Dugar (Seahawks), Jon Machota (Cowboys), and Nate Taylor (Chiefs). The discussion starts on the Seahawks adding to an already deep defensive line group. Then we shift to the Cowboys and ponder if they're just a tease or ready to take the next step. And then lastly, a breakdown of the Chiefs' unexpected loss to the Broncos.

It's getting messy because all these contenders have at least one or two flaws, and we're

months. Now the Eagles, they're 7 and 1. They're finding ways to win most weeks, mainly because

1:33.3

A.J. Brown is freaking unstoppable. But it certainly doesn't feel like the Eagles are firing on all

1:39.2

cylinders. Not yet at least. Now, every team in the AFC has at least two losses. Joe Burrow and the Bengals,

after yesterday's win in San Fran, looked like they're back. The Jets are above 500 after Halloween

without Aaron Rogers at quarterback. That's pretty impressive. Did not see that coming. And like I mentioned,

1:58.0

San Francisco, after starting 5 and 0, suddenly have three losses and aren't even in first place in their division.

2:05.2

Kirk Cousins is done for the year, which means the Vikings will have some really tough questions to answer over the coming weeks and months.
