The people may not have wanted it, but they got it. Kevin Durant is officially a Golden State Warrior. Did the press conference,

he put the uniform on, and when I looked at him in that uniform, I was like, man, they are

stacked. And here's what he had to say when they were asking him about how long he will stay

in Golden State. He said, I plan on being here.

I don't want to go through that again.

Now, this is a man that signed a two-year deal with a player option after one year.

So I know we haven't even seen him play a single game for the Warriors,

but what do we expect for him in the long term in this franchise?

I think the goal is exactly what he said, to be a Golden State Warrior for as long as possible.

You're going to see adjustments in the salary cap.

Their team is going to hit turbulence during games.

They're going to struggle at times to get chemistry.

It's not going to be the kind of guy that leads the league in scoring anymore. He's not going to be the type of player that plays 40 minutes on average.

But at the same time, the decision was made for his future.

And the goal is to see how many rings he can accumulate as a member of that team.

Now, the Warriors used to be this plucky little upstart, lovable little team that was playing

a new way, and now they're a super team.
