All right, guys, we've got a special guest on the podcast today.

Her name is Katie Faust.

So she is a children's rights advocate, and she's also the founder and president of them

before us, which is a global movement defending children, the children's right to their

mother and father. And so she's written several books, but the one we're focusing on today is really

kind of the center point scaffolding of our conversation, which is them before us, why we need a

global children's rights movement. And so here's the thing. I was first introduced to her earlier

this year when she was on the

Jordan Peterson podcast. So I listened just about all those episodes. And I was just struck at how

forcefully she was speaking on these things and really a lot of topics and philosophies that are

kind of incendiary and, you know, our kind of third rail topics for a lot of people. And just how

she approached the interview. And I was just like, she's going to be perfect and fantastic for our podcast, reached out to her

team. We got this squared away. I think we're going to end up doing an hour. Then I reached back

out to our team, you know, as I dug even further into her work, I was reading her books. I was like,

we're going to need at least an hour and a half. So I think we even went over that. But the funny thing about it is she wasn't always this way, right, as you're about to

see. She was a pastor's wife and full-time stay-at-home mom. And then she kind of created this

secret blog because by her own admission, she was too chicken to like come out with some of these

opinions because she had some very strong opinions about children and the rights they should have

and how families should operate and things like that. But a gay blogger like outed her and like, you know, docks her and put her information out there? It was causing problems in her home church and all that. And so she was kind of stuck with this dissonance of like, do I keep going and do I keep this down now that I've been outed? And some godly men in her life said, no, you're going to keep going and you're just going to go bigger. And so we talk about children's rights. What is that? Why do most people know about
