I'm coming to you from the attic late on a Friday night.

If you've been listening to the show for long enough, you might remember for many years.

That was my ritual, was to record the intros and outros late on a Friday night.

At some point, I started to think better of that because that late at night, I would get really loopy sometimes and the intros and

outros got real rambling and I think I was sometimes talking about stuff that maybe was best

not to be talked about in an intro or outro always, but not that I regretted and

you can go back and listen to them. They're all still there. But I would say that at some point

I felt like I wanted to bring a different energy to the intros and atros, not late night on a

Friday night when I'm totally scrazed out.

So I started doing them on Sunday mornings.

And, you know, I've been doing them from the backyard.

So I don't know if you listen that close, you can hear like birds and stuff in the background these days.

But not this week.

This week is like old times.

It is late on a Friday night and I am in the attic.

And the reason for that is we have this planned family weekend.
