But now I'm comfortable and at home. Thank God. I'll tell you what, I did more research on you than I have in, for many of my guests. Look at you with the hustle. I'm like a professional. You're on the hamster wheel. I love it. I do want to say before we get going, just a moment to be like serious here, watching you in the 90s and the 2000. I get like choked up. In the 90s of the 2000s as a little gay boy. My life on the D list. My life on the D-list. You are so authentically yourself. You made me feel so comfortable.

one thing I'm really proud of about that show is my dear departed mother and father, because they were true allies.

And I think what gay people got to see on my life on the D-list, whether they were closeted or not or young or not, is they got to see these two older white people that were totally into the community.

Just didn't necessarily agree with a flat.

All my mom went to, you know, marches with me and stuff.

And she had a sign that said,

I'll drink to gay marriage,

because she enjoyed a drink.

But that's one thing I love is that people from the community

could see older folks.

Really, knowing, my whole world was gay guys and women. Yep. And it's crazy

too because that show, it was on 2005, 2010. Yeah, 2005 to six seasons, yeah. Six seasons.
