Summary

Kathryn Edwards continues our chat regarding this past season of RHOBH and the Denise / Teddi exits. (Part I aired October 1st, 2020). Kathryn wastes no time in bringing up the fallout of a true many decade long friendship between Lisa Rinna and Denise Richards. We discuss what happens when making a great TV show is more important to a Housewife than a real life friendship and is it worth it? This leads to a discussion of which of the RHOBH cast are real life friends versus working colleagues. Speaking of Denise, we bring up her “hook up” with Brandi Glanville and discuss whether Kathryn thinks that really happened, why Brandi - considering her past track record of being a “tell all", the involvement of Producers to tell that “story”, the aftermath of what we saw unfold all season on RHOBH, and whether Brandi deserves a diamond. We dive into deeper issues such as the continued pressure by Producers to always bring the drama and storyline in fear of losing your job and corresponding big paycheck. Kathryn also discusses how nothing is off limits if you sign up for a reality show and how all the skeletons will ultimately come out of the closet. Kathryn discusses several actresses who she personally knows as potential diamond holders for next season - Nicolette Sheridan, Vivica A. Fox, Heather Locklear, Jennie Garth LaToya Jackson - as well as the rumored favored Kathy Hilton, and predicts the likelihood of each of those happening and how successful each would be in the “role”. Kathryn also discusses how she feels Garcelle will fare in her sophomore season sans Denise and discusses Denise's decision to walk away after just two seasons. Finally, we get into the Reunion, the good, the bad, the other bad and discuss how each of the women handled themselves during it. Tune in as our sit down with Kathryn Edwards concludes. @katedwards8 @behindvelvetrope @davidyontef Bonus Episodes Available at - https://www.patreon.com/behindthevelvetrope Merch Available at - https://www.teepublic.com/stores/behind-the-velvet-rope?ref_id=13198 See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.
