She started out and he ain't gonna stop.

Oh, she made me feel like a good God. That's when it got wheels off. Kathleen Edwards' story is pretty fascinating to me.

The way that over the last two decades she's achieved these incredible successes, done all this really cool stuff.

I don't want to put words in her mouth, but she seems to have gotten beaten down by the music industry and turned her back on it,

opened a coffee shop in her hometown, dropped out for the better part of a a decade and then now she has returned to music and found you know as she describes it you know a new a new love for this thing that she

does it's really cool i mean this is a job, and I really appreciate it when the trickier, you know,

as I like to say in these interviews, the internal stuff gets brought to light. You know,

when we focus on not just how difficult it is to travel from, you know,

Baltimore to Indianapolis and a 15 passenger van.

Like that's obvious.

These things are uncomfortable and annoying and crummy.

It's the stuff you don't see, you know, it's the daily indignities. It's the it's the daily indignities.

It's the mental hurdles that sometimes you can't clear, right?

So to hear Kathleen describe her journey into music, back out of music, and back into music again, I think is so great and so useful and beautiful in its way.

I think the world of her. I think her music is fantastic. I think she's an incredible performer.

And I'm really grateful that she has shared her story with me on this, the newest Wheels Off.
