Summary

We’re joined by one of the UK’s sharpest comedians, Katherine Ryan! Known for her brutally honest takes, razor-sharp one-liners and ability to say exactly what everyone else is thinking, Katherine brings her signature wit with a sisterly side to this conversation. From her rise in comedy to becoming one of the most recognisable voices in British entertainment, Katherine opens up about beauty, ageing and the realities of being a woman in the spotlight, including the SHOCKING price she was quoted for a facelift and why she chose not to tell anyone before going through with it. We get straight into it: relationships, trust, and why she believes men are always “one mistake away from blowing up their lives.” Katherine also turns her attention to Olivia’s dating life, delivering brutally honest, big-sister advice with so much warmth it catches Olivia off guard. It’s equal parts savage and supportive, and impossible not to love. They also dive into her take on being high maintenance and why more women should own it, before getting into a hilariously honest discussion about “post nut clarity” and what it really says about modern relationships. Plus we get Katherine’s reactions to celebrity drama including Nikki Glaser on Call Her Daddy, Alex vs Alix, and the chaos of the online world.   Katherine also recounts wild stories from her school years, the things she somehow got away with, and what life looks like now with a teenage daughter and three young children. Unfiltered and effortlessly funny with a side of tough love, this is Katherine Ryan at her absolute best. staples that just makes life easier. A few quick sprays and your hair looks fresher, feels better and smells amazing. And it's not just for greasy roots. Use it after a workout to extend a blow dry, add a bit of texture or volume, or leave your hair smelling great with fragrances for whatever mood you're in. So go on, pass the Batiste. They're all dead. No, shut up,, they're not. They all died. No, I didn't. Like in a suicide pact. No, no. Well, I think in lockdown, I saw people online making banana bread. And I was at that. And I was like, I'm going to make people. And I got this God complex. And I just kept making people, like some type of psychosis. Oh, maybe I didn't have the confidence to think I could take a year off. I didn't know if my audience would still be there if I did a tour. Wasn't there an article about you being mean? They were like, can you please tell us your next of kin? And I just picked something with the anesthetist. I was like him.. And they were like, your husband. I was like, no, I'm not speaking to him today. Well, do you want that for me? Do you think I should be on my own a little bit? Your taste is not great. You said some very nice things for me today. And I didn't grow up in that kind of family. So it's highly uncomfortable to me. But I've sat, I've kind of leant through it.
