I did want to give you a heads up. I absolutely loved my conversation with Kate. We do dig in to some kind of stuff on the more serious

side involving a loss that she experienced as a young person and so if you are maybe feeling too close

to that subject matter in a way that you want to kind of put off and listen to

later I invite you to do so, although I do feel that it is a really

fascinating conversation and so much of it has to do with kind of the way we treat ourselves when it comes to those kinds of family

dynamics and you know it's not like we're both bawling our eyes out I think we're

it's kind of intellectualized but you know you guys know what I've gone

through recently so I just want to be sensitive to you know death and loss and all of

that sending everyone love hope you are doing well and I hope you enjoy the episode. I've. I want to say hello to you, it's always a pleasure to call a 5-100 number.

It really makes me feel like I'm close to the Bay Area, which is important to me.

Oh yeah, I got this phone number when I was a freshman at UC Berkeley and I was so excited

to have the 5-10 number because my growing up area code was 661 which is you know I felt like it was an uncool area code not to be not to be this in Baker's Fields or anything like this but you know I

liked the city vibes of my 5-10 I get it and listen everyone knows Baker fields

this is it, so I don't watch it for it. Exactly. Oh, Baker's Field. Yeah, I mean

that feels like what a great right of passage if you are going to Berkeley of all places to get a new phone with that with that East Bay Area Code. That is like that's something I definitely remember feeling

excited about. I mean I didn't have a cell phone when I first moved to San

Francisco because I was like I'm older than you but even just yeah getting that phone number and

have and like the thrill of area codes I've grown up with that something as simple as an area code feels wildly exotic

I thought about getting a New York area code when I moved to New York but then it's like I just you know I love getting those random

texts from like guys I dated like 10 years ago that are like you know hey what are you
