The other day at work, something interesting, and slightly troubling happened.

It was my first day on this new job, and we were just kind of making points of connection.

Like, oh, I'm friends with your friend or whatever, and this young director Aiden, he said,

you know my godfather's Jed Reese.

Jed was an actor who was in Galaxy Quest.

He played one of the Thurmy and C very, very funny actor.

And I said, oh my god, Jed, you know, I really like, and this other, this actress, Aaron,

she said, and Jed's wife, you found her wallet.

And I was like, what?

She goes, yeah, you found the wallet and you noticed she had a blockbuster card, and you took it to blockbuster.

And they weren't supposed to, but they gave you my friend's number.

And you called them and said, I have your wallet.

And they came to this house, it's true Barrymore's house, and they had this whole exchange with her.

And she turned out to be a lawyer.

She was a lawyer.

She now an actress, but she was a lawyer at the time.

And you said, oh, I hope I never need your...

And when she said that, it jogged it up my memory a little bit where I had like a vague recollection.

But for the most part, I didn't remember that at all.
