Now, a couple of things from Carl Anthony Towns after this game that jumped out at me.

Number one, he was asked about the All-Star Break, and if that may have impacted what happened last night.

Is the first game after the All-Star break a little more difficult than those?

Absolutely. Absolutely.

His first game out of the break and people have been able to get his son and see their family you know that take a game to get the

cobwebs off but I thought we did a good job but of you know coming out with some focus and

some energy obviously didn't get the resolve we wanted but that that's meant to these guys, you know, during the break, they worked and they were ready.

When you jump the question with absolutely, even if you're not intending it to be an excuse,

it sounds like an excuse. And the reality is this game did not play out like a team struggling to come back from the

break.

They came out playing well.

They came out with fire.

They came out looking like a competent basketball team.

So sometimes it's better to just lie because when you jump the question and say, of course,

the All-Star break had an impact, it sounds like you're complaining. You're a whiny bitch. Yeah, you're making an excuse. And nobody wants to hear that. Yeah. Now, the second one really bothered me. And I'm not sure if this is going to bother Tiki as much. But the question was about something I brought up in the open. You know, Detroit is down a couple of their bigs. Yeah. Why not have more touches? Why not be more aggressive? What happened in the first half? Here's the question and here's Kat's answer. When the team like the Pistons didn't have Stewart or Duren, was there I guess I had the emphasis emphasis Game Planning for them to run things through you, give them the size advantage and the scoring ability? What did you say about? I mean, our offenses are our offense. It's been, you know, it's the whole years. We have our system that we're going to, you know, regardless of who's in the game or not in the game, you know, run the system.

We have implemented by our team as, you know, for the best for our goal.

That is brutal, and that's on Mike Brown, who I have defended, who I like.

You can't treat every game and every matchup exactly the same way.
