So the urban legend is in the 40s, local Chinese family was having dinner. Somebody broke into

the house and slaughtered the entire family.

And so that's how the house slowly gained his reputation. And over the ages, as more people

move in, more things happen, more experiences. So it's become this sion of local legend.

Hey guys, each episode, we put the spotlight on an allegedly haunted or otherwise notorious house.

We dig into the history of each house to uncover why and how it became so infamous.

We also feature special guest interviews with experts who can take us behind the scenes and share insider information.

And when we're not researching paranormal and true crime stories, we're actually design editors.

So we also tend to emphasize the usually creepy design elements of the home and really

just talk about how the house itself is a sentient main character, if you will. So with that,

let's get into it and I'll tell you what you can expect from today's episode. We are going to

visit a new destination we haven't been to yet, Hawaii, and Honolulu specifically, which is on the island of Oahu.

And I chose this one for a few reasons, but one of them being that I grew up spending a lot of time in the Kahala neighborhood because my family worked there and lived there some of the year.

So I miss all of those lovely days in Honolulu growing up, especially now from my midtown office desk chair.

But I also, of course, being me, was like, I bet there's some creepy shit that happened there and I want to find some haunted houses in the area.

So as I got researching, I realized that there was plenty to dig into.
