Welcome back to the enemies list podcast.

As always, we bring you a person or two to put on blast.

And I'm going to start today.

And there, by the way, this week has had an embarrassment of riches for people who could be on the enemy's list, who are absolutely dedicated to destroying this country.

But I'm going to lead with two.

The first is, of course, Brendan Carr, the current head of the Federal Communications Commission.

Brendan Carr, you will not be surprised to find, is the guy who has been pulling the

trigger in pressuring ABC, Disney, and other networks now to get in line politically. He has

been pressuring networks like CBS to hire a political minder, an ideological overlord, who will make

sure that the network agrees with Donald Trump's positions.

The thing that was really important to me in all of this was that the new owners of CBS came in and said,

it's time for a change. We're going to reoriented towards getting rid of bias to looking at fact-based reporting.

They said they're going to get rid of invidious forms of DEI discrimination.

At the end of the day, that's what made the difference for us in terms of our review at the agency.
