your understanding of god's word and that heightens your awareness of his

variable presence in your life. Well, a couple times a week I hop on both Facebook and

Instagram and I just teach for about 20 minutes on a topic from my devotional prevail.

And recently I was sharing how I really believe the enemy of our souls has unleashed a massive

wave of distraction. Obviously, destruction, just look around.

You see he's wreaking havoc.

But I think he's at work with distraction.

And he's hoping to derail us from our calling.

So we'll lose momentum in our sense of God-given purpose.

Because if we start to get focused, if we tune out the distractions and we run the race to win

the prize, we're going to gain a holy momentum, which will make him tremble and make him sorry

he ever messed with us. And I really do believe in this day, God wants us to focus on the right

things. Super important. And you know what? Part of that is, God has a next place of promise for you. I say that all

the time. God has a God-given dream that he wants you to live out. In some ways, it matches, a lot of

ways it matches who you are, but in other ways it's beyond who you are and can't happen unless God

intervenes. Well, my guest today says this, in one breath we'll say how we want to become more productive and focused.

We'll fantasize over having greater fulfillment and even margin in our lives. Then in the next breath, we say things like, yeah, but you don't understand.

We'll spend an exorbitant amount of time and energy trying to convince ourselves why it can't happen for us.
