Hey everybody, Rob Mauer here, and today we're going to be talking about a new presentation

over the weekend by Tessel's director of Artificial Intelligence, Andre Carpathy.

Andre shared some thoughts and new details on Tessel's transition over to pure vision,

the removal of radar from the autonomy hardware suite, and some new details on what Tessel

is doing outside of the vehicle to help push autonomy forward.

So I'll recap the main points from there we'll pull a couple of clips out as well, but

I would recommend watching the entire talk, it's about half an hour long, I'll put

the link to that in the show notes.

We've also got an update from Elon Musk on Tessel's AI Day, another leaked email from

Elon S quarter and approaches, some news on subscription offerings from Tessel, a couple

more data points on the plaid model S, and Gigabur Lint.

Up and down day for Tessel's stock today, but couldn't quite make it to four positive

days in a row, finishing down four tenths of a percent to $620.83, that did compare to

the NASDAQ, which was up 8 tenths of a percent.

Alright, so getting into this Andre Carpathi presentation, these are always really fascinating

to listen to.

He kicked it off talking about just how it's kind of silly that we have these multi-ton

metal vehicles driving people around being controlled by meat computers as he puts it.

And that Tesla thinks that they can replace that and should replace that with a silicon

computer.

So one of his first slides here just clearly lays out the advantages of that, namely

reduced latency and increased awareness, both in terms of perspective and attentiveness.
