beat. This should be Rihanna. When I say it's rare that a trade just comes out of nowhere and takes me by surprise, I mean it.

Almost always we hear smoke.

Almost always there's rumors, there's developing stories, there's, uh, at least some inkling

that a trade is going to happen.

Only rarely do we get that Kevin Durant getting sent to the suns at 1.30 in the morning type

trade that drags me out of a cookout to make a late night TikTok.

So when I say I was

absolutely shooketh by Carl Anthony Towns going to the New York Knicks for Julius Randall

and Dante DiVincenzo and a bunch of other friends, I never saw it coming. I mean, we've been

talking about it. We've been talking about it for years, though.

It was like folklore, like never going to happen.

And from the looks of things,

Coral Anthony Towns didn't see it coming either.
