Number one, Carl Anthony Towns and Draymond Green cannot coexist. Let's just let's start right there. And here's why. Dreamon Green doesn't respect him. No. He doesn't respect him as a man, as a basketball player, and as a human. So let's start right there and probably end right there. That cannot work. Yeah. We see the way Draymond talks about him, the way he looks at him, what he says about him. Well, didn't Dremont also punch one of his teammates? Didn't he get into a fight with one of his teammates and, I think, quite literally punch him? In practice, yes. In practice. Yes. And then they kind of sorted it out. They were fine, right? Dremont got suspended by the Warriors for that. For that, exactly. So, Draymond doesn't necessarily need to like you in order to play well with you. The player was moved soon after. Was he? Didn't work, yeah. Jordan Poole, that's right. It's not like it was all happy. And there's a difference between fighting with your teammate and not respecting him. Like he is disgusted by Carl Anthony Towns. Now, if you want to tell me you can smooth that over and it's actually like this perfect marriage, okay, I guess. Yeah, well, is it not respect? Because when he plays against him, he just bitches him around. And he talks trash at him all the time. Okay, so what if he now plays with him and sees him play a different way than he would he expects?

Look, I think we have this narrative about Carl Anthony Towns.

He's soft.

He doesn't play hard.

Doesn't play all those things that are out there about him.

Sometimes it's not that. No, I agree. And so would not Draymond Green being around that help him, I don't know, get over that? I think in theory, like he could be the perfect professor for Kat. Yeah. I just don't think that's the case. And I think that you're looking at a bad marriage to begin with. But the second part of this was, unfortunately, the NBA, you got to make numbers work and you got to make salaries work. And so the second thought I had is, Dremont's making $25 million. How do you make this work? Number one, we just talked about Mitchell Robinson, who makes about $12 million, $14 million. I'm not including him in a deal. I wouldn't trade Mitch for Draymond straight up.

I think you'd have to be nuts to do that. So let's take him away. So now you're talking about Josh Hart. That's what we're talking about. So what I would ask Craig or any Nick fan out there is, would you move Josh Hart in a trade for Draymond Green? Before we even wonder if the Warriors would do it, would you do it? And I have a tough time believing Nick fans, knowing the connection that Josh has to Jalen, that they'd be good with it. And if it's not him, it's McKell Bridges. And as bad as he was last night, are you really trading McElbridge? So again, I give Craig and the five-year-old a ton of credit because I think it's creative and it's a worthy discussion. It just doesn't, unfortunately, especially for Josh,

it feels like there are intangibles that, I mean, the stats you see, the rebounds, which are kind of, I don't know, out of nowhere, he ends up with double-digit rebounds in some of these games, but it's also the chemistry that he has. Yeah. And the, I don't know, his ability to turn it on in moments that I guess Draymond can still do,

but Jermont feels old to me.

Well, he's just not the same player he used to.

And he doesn't feel like he has that same, I don't know, emotional impact that he used to on an opposing team.

So would it be fun? Sure. Would it be interesting? Yeah. Would it be PJ Tucker? Absolutely.

But would it work? No, I don't think so.

And also the Warriors are just not trading them. But two things, because I do believe that the Knicks

editions are going to come through the buyout market. And there's already a few names that you could start speculating about. Mike Connolly is going to be bought out. Chris Paul is going to be bought out. Mason Pumley has already been bought out, though I'm not sure of his injury status. So there are going to be at least, you know, serviceable NBA players that will be available by the buyabout market we're not there with draymond green if he was in the

buyout market let's're not there with Draymond Green. If he was in the buyout market, let's talk. Let's have a conversation. So good ideas all around. But unfortunately, as much as I thought about it, because I did. I was like, all right, that's a good one. Let me see those two things really complete roadblocks, A, making it work, and then B, the chemistry between him and Kat.

And then, oh, yeah, the third problem. The Warriors are not trading him. Like, their interest in trading him was revolving around Yanis-Santanacombo. And now that they're not pursuing Janus, I don't think they're looking to trade, Raymond Green. Let's go to Bill in Lyndonhurst. Hey, Bill. Hey, how you doing, guys? Listen, I agree with you about Walt Frazier. One of the greatest analysts of all time. I think a very close second is Tim McArthur when he was doing the Mets when he first got started. Yeah. You know what they are? They're very different because in the case of McCarver, who I grew up listening to, he was like my teacher.

He was like a father figure teaching us all about baseball.
