We have with us an extremely special guest, Carrie Lake, who was currently the Republican

Frontrunner for the nomination for Arizona Governor.

For people who don't know, there are, I think, 35 or 36 gubernatorial contests in the

midterm elections.

That means 72 candidates.

There's been very few who have achieved national attention.

I know someone's running against Gavin Newsom, can't name who.

Kate Brown is Governor of Oregon, lowest approval rates any governor.

Republicans have a shot.

Can't name her opponent.

I know someone's running against Kathy Hoechul, New York, my native New York.

Can't name her opponent, but we have Carrie Lake, who's making waves.

One of the big reasons you're making waves is you have been using social media in a very

effective way to get your message across, and we're going to get to that in a second.

But the very first question, the very obvious question is, why do you want to be Governor

of Arizona?

Well, initially, I had no interest in getting into politics.

I'll be honest.

I had a 30-year successful career in broadcast journalism.

I was an honest journalist, and I walked away during COVID and after that botched election.

I just no longer wanted to put out anything that wasn't 100% truthful.
