An entitled racist Karen at IHop goes in on me and my family by screaming at us that we need to

go back to China and that apparently real Americans don't need us here. Things got so bad after

this Karen tried to get physical that I ended up calling the police. Here's what happened. So last

night I was eating at I hop with my mom and older sister. For reference, I'm 19 years old. My older sister is 22, and my mom is 50 years old. Now, lucky us, we were seated in a booth next to a Karen who's maybe in her mid-40s and her maybe four-year-old son, with some other people who were dining with them, but trust me, they are not important to the story. We got there at the tail end of their meal, but they were just sitting and chatting as their waiter brought over their receipt. Now, the entire time, the kid was

peeking over the booth periodically and reaching out to grab my sisters or my hair while his hands

were covered in sticky maple syrup. Or he would be bouncing so hard on the cushion that it shook

our side of the bench. Now, we didn't say anything,

as it's generally not worth it to cause a scene to people who we thought were already leaving.

Well, we got our food and we were taking pictures as it was the Willy Wonka theme, and for the

record, we're prone to take pictures of unique experiences. I got this sparkly hot chocolate,

and my mom and sister got this bucket of mimosa's and some large

alcoholic beverage to share. Eventually, the family began to leave and we all kind of sighed in

relief. The kid, however, stayed around as the Karen was the last to leave. He peeked over our table

and looked at our food and tried to touch it, which we quickly moved our food away from him.

Well, he stopped trying to touch it and instead began to cough directly at us and onto our food.

I mean, I could feel the spit of the kid's saliva on my hand.

Now, my mom had enough at that point and looked at the Karen and asked her to mind her kid.

And it's right at this moment that things really started to pop off.

The Karen looked at my mom and said, he is not sick. He just has asthma. And it's like, okay, as if coughing on our food would be okay if he wasn't sick. But my mom said it again. He is coughing on us. Please move him. The Karen then said, he is not sick. It's not that big of a deal. So my mom asked her, okay, so you're okay if I spit in your food? And it was then that this Karen lost her mind. She screamed out, how dare you? And then this Karen actually throws a cup that she stole from another dinner's table that was full of hot coffee at my mom. Now, luckily, it splashed onto the ground, and it didn't really hurt anything, but my mom was

livid at that point, and I had 911 dialed up and ready to go. My sister and I were periodically

interjecting with curse words and defending our family, but my mom at this point was already done

with it. The Karen stalked off with her kid, shouting for us to go back to China, while also saying
