1:03.2	Tanya Fernandez Anderson, who was elected to the council, I believe, in 2021, and was arrested
1:10.7	in late 2024 for several counts, several felony federal
1:17.8	counts of corruption. And it's just been reported that she claims that she can't even pay
1:26.1	her federal public defender. I don't know what that means.
1:30.7	She makes $120,000 as a Boston city councilor. A lot of other city councilors, if they're
1:38.7	lawyers, stuff like that, they have other jobs, but I don't think Tony Fernandez Anderson does.
1:46.0	And she's saying now that she can't contribute to her defense, and she has not resigned,
1:52.0	not resigned from the Boston City Council.
1:55.0	And if you were expecting righteousness or nobility or the mayor of Boston to have repeated calls for her to
2:03.6	resign. You'd be fooling yourself. The mayor, Mayor Wu, has asked her to resign, hasn't demanded
2:11.2	a resignation. As far as I know, neither has the city council president. Ed Flynn, the city councilor, who people had expected
2:19.8	to announce a run for mayor, has not done so. I think fundraising was an issue. So he will stay
