And we are back here with Dr. Ashley Scalaro, who is, we spoke with her last week she is a phd in neuroscience and um now that there is a verdict

if you've been living under a rock and you don't know that there has been a verdict in the

karen reed trial she was um acquitted of all charges except for, they have a different name, I guess,

in Massachusetts, OUI, it's the UI here, but OUI. And so we're going to talk about the verdict.

We're going to, some jury members have come out and started sharing their opinions on the case,

which was really fascinating. Both the Albert slash McCabe's plus

Michael Proctor have spoken out. Not what I would recommend. And I will say, these people have learned

nothing. They have not grown at all as people in this last couple years. And then we're going to get

into some of the legal issues that came out and we'll go from there. So, Brooke and I were talking about this. We're like, what was our prediction again? What do we think was going to happen? And I think mine was, I thought, I definitely didn't think they were going to find her guilty. I said, I thought it was either going to, they were going to be hung jury or they were going to quit her. Because I felt like from watching the second trial that the, they really streamlined

the case and they really hammered home and they had many experts go up there and say there was no

collision. There was no collision. And I think that helped because it's very much like if

there is no collision, we cannot argue about any of these other things. Like she had no part of this

if he never hit the car. And so that was my prediction. I can't remember what I didn't remember

mine. I should have probably should have else was. I can't remember mine.

I probably should have looked it up before we started this.

But I remember feeling very worried, you know, just worried that she was going to be convicted of like probably the lesser, you know, involuntary manslaughter.

But, you know, trying to be positive about the reasonable doubt and, and, you know, just the whole
