Anyway, you guys, what about James Kimmel Jr.'s episode on Revenge and Forgiveness?

This, I have spent so much time thinking about how James, just James's story, but also how he was talking about how, like, our legal system is like legalized revenge basically.

Oh my God, yeah.

I just,

that has really stuck with me.

I've thought about that so often.

And I just think ever since his episode,

I kind of look at the cycle of revenge differently.

And not even in a way that like I don't think that it's like not good. And I understand

if you've been wronged, like wanting to get it and everything. But I just so see it as this kind

of way of keeping you stuck. And I think that like true freedom is like bigger than that.

It definitely is. I mean, the thing that's been popping up on my on my FYP since the episode was

been all of the different, like, here's how you can get revenge in five easy steps. Here's the best

way that you can get revenge on someone that's fucked you over. There's so many self-help

versions of getting revenge. And then there were all those things about, you know,

Fran Lee Witt's talking about, I love revenge. I'm going to get revenge over. It was just like, oh my God, yeah, it really is so embedded in the culture. And the thing that I was thinking about was shot in Freud. That was what I was thinking about a lot. Being happy when something bad happens to somebody else. Like, that's also, that's vengeful. Yeah. Yeah. And like, yeah, I do think it makes you, like, sick and sad.
