Hey guys, welcome back to Boston Confidential.

Everybody here in Boston is still basking in the glow of the Karen Reid acquittal, or at least quid on the major charges.

Karen Reid was charged with second-degree homicide in leaving the scene of an accident where bodily injury or death

had occurred. She was acquitted of those charges, but convicted on an OUI operating under the

influence charge, which in my opinion is beatable on appeal, but it's a misdemeanor, and I think they're just looking to turn

the page. I think her record will be sealed in a year or something like that when she finishes

probation, and you can't blame her for just moving on. All of this corruption, all of it

stacked against her, I still can't believe it.

This is the trial of the century. I'm here to tell you that. I think they say around here,

the Klaus von Buehlo trial in Newport. They called that the trial of the century. And

Alan Dershowitz was involved in that, and it was a great legal battle.

Again, I think Klaus was rad, as they said back in the day.

But in terms of Karen Reed, I do believe that this was the trial of the century.

It was this one woman.

They took every dime from her. Every dime of her has had to go to her
