UMG filed a motion to dismiss Drake’s case ultimately stating that he lost a rap battle that he willingly participated in. The concept of defamation in rap music, hyperbole, and opinion versus factual statements are challenged in this filing and it’s a great read. The Lively and Baldoni cases have been getting more movement as many parties filed motions to dismiss. We’ll see what happens next. 0:21.9	I hope that there will be deep dives coming, but it's really going to depend on what happens with the Karen Reid trial because that is a little bit up in the air due to what Judge Kenone said in court.
