An entitled family lets their kids run loose in our restaurant,

constantly getting in the way,

while also causing our serving staff to drop food and water on the ground.

But it all came to a head when my coworker stepped in

and told off the party that had all these kids running around,

saying that they were awful parents and that if they couldn't watch their kids, then they should leave the restaurant.

And as a result, the mother of the kids ran out of the restaurant crying.

And I'm honestly still in shock of everything that my coworker did to put this entitled family in their place.

Here's what happened.

Okay, so my coworker, who we will call Tatiana that's not her real name made a woman at my table cry and leave the restaurant.

For some background, I work at a huge restaurant in the Florida Keys and we are very busy because our restaurant is one of the few on the island able to take big groups.

So when a party of 15 come in, it's honestly no big deal.

Although this party had eight kids ages ranging from three to nine years old.

Everything is going smoothly in the beginning. The parents are consistently ordering rounds of

drinks. They're ordering expensive food and they're pretty nice people even though they are a little needy.

The only issue was the kids as they began to run around the entire restaurant.

This is pretty normal because, well, they are children, and with eight of them, it is pretty hard to keep

all of them sitting at a table at once.

However, the parents were not stopping them or even watching them as they began to run into

our food runners and servers, which did cause one waitress to drop a tray of waters.

Which is not a huge deal, but still, it shouldn't have happened.

At this point, the weight staff became frustrated with the behavior of the parents for not stepping in and trying to settle the kids down or at least watch them in some kind of way.
