| 0:00.0 | An entitled Karen freaks out on me in the worst case of road rage I've ever seen in my life. |
| 0:04.7 | So I decided to get some revenge by humiliating her at her job in front of all of her coworkers. |
| 0:09.7 | Here's what happened. |
| 0:10.6 | Okay, to start things out, I live in the country. |
| 0:12.8 | I was driving my baby to daycare early one beautiful spring morning in 2003, and the daycare is located near the town center and a fancy little village. |
| 0:20.7 | There is a large, |
| 0:22.1 | widely space, four-way stop sign at the village entrance, about half a mile from the daycare. |
| 0:26.8 | And most of the time, it's very quiet and never really busy. On said morning, I was talking to |
| 0:31.0 | my baby about the day. I went through the stop intersection, and shortly thereafter, I noticed a car |
| 0:35.5 | tailgating me very aggressively and honking their horn. Now, this is while we're going through a residential village at like 20 miles an hour, but I just brushed it off, thinking the person was just in a rush or had a bad morning of some kind. I thought nothing of it because I was about to get out of their way by pulling into the daycare's driveway. Well, suddenly, they turned in after me, so I got a little bit scared. |
| 0:55.4 | But once they pulled in next to me, that's when I really got scared. I unbuckle my baby, talking to her calmly, because I don't know what's about to happen. When suddenly, this entitled Karen jumps out of her car and starts screaming at me at full volume. Mind you, it's 7.45 in the morning on a beautiful day, so I was so surprised. Apparently, I cut her off at the four-way stop sign, and I replied by saying, oh, so that's why you were tailgating me, which is an inflammatory remark, I guess, but honestly, I had just figured it out, and I was congratulating myself. I didn't intend to be rude. I immediately apologized, saying I didn't realize, but she kept screaming |
| 1:28.0 | at me in front of my baby, and she literally wouldn't stop. I was completely confused as to why she was so upset. I will admit that I'm not a morning person, so I wasn't firing on all cylinders. I then apologized a few more times, and then I said, it's a beautiful day, let's just move on. I then turned my back on her and I went inside, which I guess was the wrong choice to make. |
| 1:47.2 | Well, it's a beautiful day. Let's just move on. I then turned my back on her and I went inside, which I guess was the wrong choice to make. Well, it turns out she was another parent of the daycare and she went to the center director to complain about my driving, saying that I made it unsafe for her. I think I called in and they warned me to drive safer and I was so mad. She went out of her way to make my life harder at my kid's school, so I knew that I would never forget that lady's face. Well, fast forward two years, and I have a doctor's appointment in the same town. And when I walk into the office, guess who's in the receptionist area? Yeah, it's the lady that screamed at me. She knew too, because she wouldn't make any eye contact. I took the clipboard and I seethed for a little bit while I filled it out, trying to talk myself down. But that simply didn't work. So it turns out I'm incredibly petty because I definitely handed the clipboard back to her and I said loudly for the whole office to hear, oh, I know you. Do you remember that one time when you screamed at me at 7.45 in the morning? All about a stop sign? I know I cut you off by accident, but I apologized. And it was super lame of you to scream at me and our kid's school parking lot about it. That's what pathetic people do. Well, the whole time I did this, this lady just stared at her keyboard. Her coworker didn't though. And neither did the other people in the waiting room. They absolutely loved it, and honestly, so did I. Man, I love it when there's like a long play of some kind of like petty revenge, because the lady in the story who screamed at the original poster absolutely had it coming. Listen, in my opinion, it is just not safe out there to approach someone about some kind of road rage incident. It really could |
| 3:07.6 | end poorly and somebody could get hurt or worse, especially in today's day and age. Like, |
| 3:12.3 | honestly, people are crazy out there. Who knows who you're actually approaching on the street, |
| 3:16.8 | let alone at a daycare of all places? But good for you for making this lady know exactly how |
| 3:21.4 | rude she was being, even though you had to do it a few years later, |
| 3:24.3 | because the way she treated you, in my opinion, is completely unacceptable. If you like Am I the |
