An entitled Karen gets me fired from my teaching job after I reprimand her demon child in my English class.

And I've never been more blown away by an entitled Karen's actions in my life.

Here's what happened.

So I used to be an English teacher at a large English school here in Brazil.

We have a lot of language schools around the country and while I did teach all ages, my favorite to work with were the children.

Around March of last year, I got a group of eight-year-old children who were all really delightful.

Well, except for this one that we'll call Sid.

Sid is not their real name.

And I'm going to call this kid because she actually reminded me of the sloth from the movie Ice Age.

Sid was a horrible student.

She did enjoy the games and extra activities, but whenever I tried to assign an activity from the book,

she'd make it a nightmare because she wouldn't do anything and then complain about it the whole class.

As a side note, their activities were basically like, hey, connect the word to the picture, or color the objects that are toys.

Something like that. They didn't have to write anything, but Sid would still not even do that.

The school had training for teachers, and we were advised to keep a policy in the classroom to help the students behave.

My friend taught me the strategy of the well-behaved hangman. I would draw a hangman game for each student and each time they would interrupt me or get up from their seats without permission or even just stop doing the activity. They would get a part of the body for their individual hangman. If the man was hung they'd lose and

I'd call their parents to discuss their agitation. Now this group was very passionate

about the line to leave class so the ones with less body parts for their hangman would be the first to leave and the

rest would follow the score.

So Sid always wanted to be first.

It didn't matter how many times I told her the rules.

She would even cry about it sometimes, which would result in another
