Summary

Karen Dukess is the author of The Last Book Party, a fantastic coming-of-age novel set in the literary world and in Cape Cod. Karen's debut novel is absolutely lovely and takes the reader from the shores of the Cape to the literary event of the season. It's evocative, transformative, and very well-written. Listen to Karen and me discuss the background of her book, how it took her until now in her life to publish it, and what the Cape means to her.

It takes place over the summer of 1987 and it follows a 25-year-old young woman and she moves from
