we're able to observe our own thinking.

So you can, and the best way to get good at that,

I think, is to whatever your belief is.

I have people like write out their whole story

the way they believe it.

Like, let's get those thoughts out,

and everybody wants to tell you all

their thoughts they believe are true, right? So you like do that even for

yourself like write the story the way you already believe it. But then you have to

give yourself the task of looking for evidence of the opposite proposition.

Right? And this is like kind of where the lawyer brain comes in handy a little bit.

So if your thought is like, there's something wrong with me because I'm not married, you would go look for evidence of the contrary, right?

Or if your thought is, I've never been in a real relationship, you go look for evidence of the country.

Or if your thought is, I'm not good at my job, look for evidence of the country or if your thought is I'm not good at my job

look for evidence of the country right if you were cross-examining that witness and

they were unreliable what would you look for what would you ask them so we can

learn how to look for evidence to the contrary and I still do that all the time

Like throughout the day as my brain says some random thing to me that is painful and probably not true

I'm like okay, what's the evidence of the contrary? Like, how can I see that things could be exactly the

opposite?
