been living under a rock you may not know that Kanye West has made a turn

towards God and religious music in the last few months.

Since January, he has been hosting Sunday service,

originally near his home in Calabassas,

and more recently on the road.

He's got a top-notch choir doing choral and gospel arrangements of pop hits and

R&B songs and also playing religious music. Now obviously obviously, Kanyay's turn to gospel

has been met with all that skepticism,

especially given some of the more provocative

and unfortunate political stances

that he has taken in the last couple of years.

But what you can certainly say about the last eight to nine months is it really does mark a true

stand-alone era for Kanya West.

Initially it was unclear if it was going to be sort of

dabbling something that he would be doing on the side but it's become clear

especially in the last three months I think with Jesus King the album, Jesus King the film, and the continuing of the Sunday
