Summary
Kanye’s mouth continues to destroy his business empire. Following weeks of antisemitic comments, his nearly decade-long partnership with Adidas is over, after a huge public outcry for the sportswear giant to drop Ye. Forbes estimates losing the partnership with Adidas will cost Yeezy a cool $1.5 billion. And they’re just the latest in a long line of celebrities, athletes and companies who have severed all ties with the rapper over his controversial remarks. And it looks like as a result of his well-documented hate speech, his music career is suffering too. Kanye’s radio airplay has plummeted and he’s now officially lost his billionaire status. So is Kanye’s career finally starting to crumble…and we have to wonder…does he even care?
