There's a few narratives that are out there that need to be dispelled. Week one of college football

no longer matters because we have a 12 team expanded playoff. This game right here that we're going to get this weekend dispels those narratives.

These two teams right here have a good shot to win this conference.

We don't care what account you have, where you live or whatever. We want you making that paper like we gave it to you last year, so you picked the right place. So let's start with the lines. Awesome. Let's start with the lines, the over-under, the spread, all that jazz. Then we're going to get into the actual substance. Okay, remember this game is where? It's in Dublin, Ireland, baby. What's in Dublin, Ireland? Tall grass. Tall grass. A lot of rain and tall grass. Right now, the spreads coming into Kansas State is favored at minus three and a half. And I'm going off Fandalls. Yeah, I know. Draft King's at minus three. Yeah. Okay. Well, if the draft king's having minus three. Okay. Fandle has a minus three and a half. All right now the money is laying with Iowa State at plus three and a half going off at minus 120. The money line total right now, Iowa State to wins plus 126. Kansas State to win is minus 152. And the over under total when it comes to most points is 49 and a half for the over.

And right now the money is laying with the over.

So here's where I want to start, obviously, about this matchup.

We can talk about what these teams did last year.

But David, with you, when you look at these teams, and I love that we get a game like this, because it does feel like there's some even parts on both side. When you look at Iowa State or Kansas State, do you feel better about one side of the ball going up against the other where that's the biggest advantage of the game? Is there anywhere you're leaning right now? First off, there's a few narratives that are out there that I think need to be dispelled. The first one is week zero is meaningless, is completely weak, no great games. Week one of college football no longer matters because we have a 12 team expanded playoff. This game right here that we're going to get this weekend dispels those narratives to me because a team from the Big 12 is going to make the college football play. That much we know.

These two teams right here, both with quarterbacks that I think could play at the next level, have a good shot to win this conference. Kansas State is tied for the favorite right now to win the conference. Iowa State a little bit lower at plus 1,100. I think maybe you should take a look at that. But someone has to win this conference, make the college football playoff, and we're getting this matchup in week one.

This was a heck of a football game a year ago that ended, what was it, 29, 21, something like that. This is regular season finale, right? Yeah, for Iowa State to go play Arizona State in the Big 12 championship game. I think a lot of people forget that, finish the season at 11 and 3.
