Hello everyone and welcome to police off the cuff, real crime stories. I'm your host,

retired NYPD sergeant Bill Cannon, a 27-year veteran of the NYPD.

You know, folks, the case that we're looking at that we've covered since it occurred back in March is,

it was known as the Kansas Moms case. And of course, you see on the screen,

Veronica Butler and Jillian Kelly. And to the left

is the grandma, Tiffany Adams, the sort of diabolical planner and the rage behind this

horrific double murder that just doesn't make any sense to any of us,

you know, to any of us that have followed this case.

One of the big things is that, okay, we understand how Tiffany Adams was involved in a custody battle with her daughter-in-law.

But how did these other individuals, how were they so enraged that they also got involved

in this horrific murder.

And that's Tad Bert Cullum all the way to the left, and of course Tiffany Adams,

Cole Earl Twombly and Cora Twombly.

And of course, there's another individual who early on in this investigation you see on

your screen now now Paul Grice

and he turned out to be one of the most violent of all of them

and they initially released him from custody

was very difficult to believe that they released him from custody

because they didn't think they well they did the right thing they didn't think they, well, they did the right thing.

They didn't think they had probable cause against him.

But as the investigation started to develop and Tiffany Adams basically confessed to what she did,

her part in this, it was clear that there was there were five of them
