Summary

Episode 24 with Kamden Hainsworth.

"Do you want to be organized or less messy because you want it, or because society tells you that’s what a functional adult looks like?"

Kamden was diagnosed with ADHD in the fall of 2019 at the age of 36. Even though she was a teacher for years and taught lots of kids with ADHD, and even though her own daughter was diagnosed with ADHD, she still didn’t recognize in herself because of so many of the misconceptions we all have about hyperactivity.

Once diagnosed, she very quickly began advocating and researching to learn how to build her new amazing life as an ADHDer. She has always felt the most fulfilled helping others realize their true potential, and her message and her warmth and nurturing spirit has clearly resonated with many of us on social media, especially on TikTok where she’s grown quite a large following.

In our interview, we talk about how to lean into your ADHD strengths in order to live your best life, as well as The ADHDirectory, which offers one-time 1:1 consultations to help ADHDers connect with personal and tailored resources including coaches, podcasts, books, and subscriptions that will help direct them in their own ADHD journeys.

Kamden lives with her husband and three daughters in Springville, Utah. She enjoys spending time in nearby the mountains, traveling, working on home improvement projects and serving in her community and church.

I know you’ll love this interview, so here we go! Enjoy!
