as people start to tune in people start to watch we want to bring up sort of the

breaking news that came out which is again yes there's Trump lawsuit, but maybe not in the way you're thinking.

Because maybe the shoe is on the other foot, if you will, will?

That's right.

So this morning, or over the weekend the president's attorneys informed the

Department of Justice of his intent to sue for a hundred million dollars in

damages over the execution of the search warrant at Maralago back in 2022.

So this is an administrative tort claim against the DOJ.

It argues that Attorney General Garland and Director Ray applied quote

inconsistent standards and were guilty of quote clear

dereliction of constitutional principles.

This is the case that Judge Cannon dismissed just weeks ago on the grounds that the special counsel was not constitutionally

appropriate in that role and was not appointed under the Constitution.

And so what we have now is the president going on the offensive seeking

a hundred million dollars in damages.
