Summary

The Rich Zeoli Show- Hour 2: 4:00pm- Bombshell WSJ Poll: A newly released Wall Street Journal poll reveals that Donald Trump now leads Kamala Harris nationally‚ 49% to 46% in a head-to-head matchup. Aaron Zitner of The Wall Street Journal writes: “Views of Harris have turned more negative since August, when equal shares of voters viewed her favorably and unfavorably. Now, the unfavorable views are dominant by 8 percentage points, 53% to 45%. Moreover, voters give Harris her worst job rating as vice president in the three times the Journal has asked about it since July, with 42% approving and 54% disapproving of her performance. By contrast, views of Trump have turned rosier. Voters recall his time as president more positively than at any point in this election cycle, with 52% approving and 48% disapproving of his performance in office—a 4-point positive job rating that contrasts with the 12-point negative rating for Harris. Moreover, voters give Trump a solid edge in most cases when asked about the candidates’ agendas and policies. By 10 points, more voters have a favorable than unfavorable view of Trump’s economic plan for the country, while unfavorable views of Harris’s economic plan outweigh positive views by 4 points.” You can find the complete polling results here: https://www.wsj.com/politics/elections/trump-leads-harris-wsj-poll-779f8516?mod=hp_lead_pos7 4:15pm- In a New York Times editorial, polling expert Nate Silver said his “gut says Trump” will win the 2024 presidential election. He also noted that pollsters may be “herding toward a false consensus” and that, according to his model, “there’s about a 60 percent chance that one candidate will sweep at least six of seven battleground states.” You can read the full editorial here: https://www.nytimes.com/2024/10/23/opinion/election-polls-results-trump-harris.html 4:30pm- Congressman Scott Perry—Representative for Pennsylvania’s 10th Congressional District—joins The Rich Zeoli Show to discuss his reelection campaign and Donald Trump’s prospects of winning the presidential election. Rep. Perry adroitly notes that if Trump wins the presidency, a Democrat-controlled House of Representatives will undoubtedly attempt to impeach him on Day One. It’s imperative that Republicans retain the House. To learn more about Rep. Perry’s campaign, visit: https://patriotsforperry.com/ 4:50pm- While evaluating Kamala Harris’s CNN town hall performance, former Obama Administration Advisor David Axlerod said it was “word salad city.”
