It's that time again. Let's talk about guns.

Because you know what, this is gun talk and I am Tom Gresham, your host.

My apologies, let me just start off with this. I was supposed to be at

the gun rights policy conference in San Diego the last couple of days and I ended up

having to cancel last minute. You may have heard last week I started to sound a little

scratchy, a little bad and then it just I got run over by something. It was like a bull moose coming to a

cow call through the brush. Let me just tell you. It

knocked me down and it's coughing and sneezing and all of that. Nobody would

want to be around me. I didn't even want to be around myself. So I'm about

70% back. But all that to say, I ended up having to cancel going to the

Gun Rights Policy Conference. I really hated that.

GRPC is such a great event. It's actually, as a look at my watch, finishing up right now, I got the

last hour going on right now down there. I was going to MC the awards luncheon into all

sorts of stuff. I had a speech ready to go. Yeah, what do I say, best laid plans and all the rest of it. But it was a great event. It's the 50th year of the Second Amendment Foundation and a real celebration for the legacy and

the vision of Alan Gottlieb who founded S.A.F. It was a little bit of the outfit and it has grown like crazy, particularly

the last few years. And some were called the post-Bruin era, others call it the post-N-R-A era, maybe not quite true, but not too far from the truth.

And the Second Amendment Foundation has done great things, alongside other groups.
