Well, a very good morning to you. The papers this morning,

if you are just waking up, the Times front page this morning. Donor dollars are pouring in

as Harris promises victory. It looks like she has secured enough votes to go forward and the path

is now clear. The Guardian says senior Democrats throw weight behind Harris to

take on Trump. It's pretty much across all of the front pages this morning. Coronation,

this is the Daily Telegraph this morning, coronation for Harris as rivals step aside. Actually,

a lot of the news is stateside as well, of course, and I was saying the last week really has been tumultuous. It's something out of a novel, the attempted assassination on Donald Trump. And of course, Biden stepping down, then Kamala Harris, of course. And the race of what, 105 days to go or something until the race ends. But yesterday we saw this US Secret Service Director, Kimberly Cheatel, giving evidence. Now,

she definitely admitted failures. The assassination attempt of former President Donald Trump on July 13th

is the most significant operational failure of the Secret Service in decades,

and I am keeping him and his family in my thoughts.

The Secret Service's solemn mission is to protect our nation's leaders.

On July 13th, we failed.

I take full responsibility for any security lapse

of our agency.

We are fully cooperating with ongoing investigations.

We must learn what happened and I will move heaven and earth
