but we are here. It was a big day. Colin Strickland, the boyfriend of Caitlin Armstrong, was

on the stand. Seems like for a lot of the day, we're going to get into his testimony, but first,

three of the Caitlin Armstrong murder trial. The first witness of the day was somebody who went through

their home surveillance and showed police the footage. The witness did catch Colin's motorcycle,

although in the notes, it didn't say when, whether it was when he came to pick her up or when he

dropped her off. The next witness up was witness Sergeant Jason Ayers with Austin PD. And he

explains to the jury that typically the last known person to be with the homicide victim is going

to be their very first person of interest until they can rule them out. He and the lead detective,

which is detective Spittler went over to talk to Colin at his residence. They did have a body

cam on. At that point, they knew that Colin and Moe had a past relationship. They knew that Colin

was a pro cyclist. And also that he was the last person known to be with Moe before she was murdered.

When they got to Colin and Caitlin's house, that was around 9 a.m. the next day after the murder,

so that would have been May 12th. The Jeep was outside in the driveway. And Detective Spittler

informed Colin that Moe was deceased. And they were investigating that as a homicide.

At this point, the defense asked for a sidebar about that body cam footage being shown to the jury.
