I'm your host, retired NYPD Sergeant Bill Cannon, a 27-year veteran of the NYPD.

So Friday nights or afternoon, 4 o'clock on the afternoon, it started a little mini riot in New York City by Union Square Park.

And some of these occurrences these days need to be predicted by the police department because

we are in a world of social media.

And because of social media, things can happen in real time.

And the police cannot be blindsided by these things.

They have to have someone monitoring social media that lets them know the potentiality of a disaster in the making.

And I believe that that's what this or last Friday's occurrence was in Union Square Park.

On the screen is a picture of Kai Sanat. He's a popular social media streamer, and he was charged on

Friday after the event in Union Square Park with inciting a riot.

He intended to give out some PlayStation's and some gift cards and that stuff.

And so in essence, he brings out a large crowd.

But the police department had predicted it would only be about three or 400 people.

It swelled to a crowd of over 6,000.

And no one was prepared for that.

And in fact, I think a detail for this incident was allowed by the police department,

but there was not enough cops there to deal with it.

So a gathering of a thousand people in the Manitans Union's

school park on Friday quickly became an unruly scene
