Everybody's talking about Colin Kaepernick.

They're not talking about his running ability or his throwing ability or any of his abilities.

They're talking about the fact that he did not stand for the national anthem.

In this current climate, with all of the perceived injustice in the world, he's taking a stance.

What do you think about his decision?

Complex, a lot deeper than a lot of people acknowledge.

Because on the surface, if you're strictly talking about the flag, which was instituted in 1814,

written by Francis Scott Key, a person that did own slaves, someone who coined four verses in that song, though we only

sing the first one. The reason why we don't acknowledge the others is because of some of the

language that it bears and some of his commentary overall beyond the fact that he basically

viewed his fellow brothers as inferior of a people and of a race.

So that's on the surface about the flag.
