Oprah Winfrey says, I was paid nothing ever by the Kamala Harris campaign.

So what was that $1 million for anyway?

Gentlemen, I don't know if you saw this, but I think it was a daily wire. It might have been

the daily caller. I get those two confused sometimes. I'm not very bright. They did the digging

into Kamala Harris's Federal Election Commission filings and found that the Harris Walls campaign

had paid a cool million dollars to Oprah Winfrey's Harpo Productions Company.

And it was for the town hall where Oprah endorsed Harris back in September, if you remember

that thing.

But Oprah denied it.

She was caught on a backstreet by one of those TMZ video crews on Sunday or Monday

and asked if it was true that they paid you a million dollars for the

endorsement for Kamala and Oprah replied her exact words not true I was paid nothing ever

and a spokesperson for Harpo that's that's her production company I guess tried to clear

things up they said and this is another quote the campaign paid for the production costs of Unite for America,

Harris's little town hall there,

Oprah Winfrey was at no point during the campaign,

paid a personal fee, nor did she receive a fee from Harpo.

Now, technically, Scott, that's true, but only technically.

Scott, Oprah founded Harpo and owns Harpo and effectively is Harpo.

And as a federalist, Sean Davis asked on Monday, as a legal matter, how are secret bought and paid for endorsements even legal?
