So inshallah tonight we will be continuing with the poets of the prophets

Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam and we will be covering the second poet of the

prophet Salih Salam who's famous for his story of repentance. But just as I said

it's important to inshallah to ala have this insight into what it looked like when

you came into Medina. The man that we're speaking about Qa'b-e-Mumalikur

al-Diyallahu ta'ala on who was one of those sahaba that lived a very very long

life and who many people became tabirin because of who many narrated from and you

could often see him walking around the measure of the prophet Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam in

his old age with one of his sons taking him around because he was blind. So he's

one of those companions that lived a long life and lived a significant amount of

his life blind and whose sons would take him around the measure of the

prophet Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam where people would come to meet him and would come

to ask him about his history with the prophet Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam and what

he witnessed of those glorious days in al-Madina. So we started off once again

with the reminder that Imam bin Syedin al-Himahullah says he was

Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam that there were three poets of the prophet Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam.

Abdullah bin Rwahar al-Diyallahu ta'ala on him and Hassan al-Bnuthab al-Diyallahu

on him and Qa'b-e-Mumalik al-Diyallahu ta'ala on him. Qa'b-e-Mumalik has a lot of

Qa'b's in his in his long name. So he's himself Qa'b-e-Mumalik al-Diyallahu

ta'ala on him, the son of Malik ibn Abi Qa'b al-Tain. Both of his parents passed away

before Islam had reached him or reached al-Madina. He had two brothers,
