We're doing something a little different this week.

We've done this before, but it's been a while where Pete and I, unfortunately, could not find a way to get together to record.

And so we've each done our own recordings.

We're going to splice them together here. I think this will work pretty well. But we're going to

start off today's episode just by telling you a little bit about what we're going to do,

which is Pete and I each took some time to look at stats that surprised us, caught us off guard,

or we thought were interesting in some way

in the early season. We started off looking for three. I might get to a fourth. We'll see how much

time we have. But the way this is going to work is after my little intro here, I'm going to kick it

over to Pete. He's going to go through his first stat, which has to do with guys taking in the second round of drafts.

Then I'm going to come back.

I'll talk about my first stat.

Then we'll go back to Pete for his next one and so on and so forth, just going back and forth.

You don't get much dialogue or back and forth here.

It'll be alternating monologues here.

But I think there's some interesting numbers and some good things to take a look at here.

Hopefully you'll find this interesting.

Like I said, Pete's going to go first with some interesting thoughts on what is happening with guys taken early in drafts.

Not the first rounders, but the second rounders, a lot of them are struggling.

And Pete's got thoughts on that.
