We're going to spend most of this episode repeating an exercise we did last week, but on the other side of the

the diamond, the other side of the ball. I feel like in, you know, like football, basketball,

the other side of the ball, baseball, I don't know, it seems weird. Last week we talked about

pitchers who had made big improvements this year. This week we're going to talk about hitters.

Is that the other side of the ball? I guess. What do you say, Pete? Is there a better phrase than that?

I was going to say the opposite side of the dugout. Nope, that doesn't work either. That doesn't make any sense.

Yeah, we're just going to, we're just going to go with number 51. And this is a, a weird jersey number

because for like most organizations, like a lot of times of these numbers, like the early

numbers, you know, you go to number like, I don't know, seven, something like that. You're like,

every organization has somebody who wore that number that is interesting right they

might not be a hall of fame or whatever but they're interesting 51 I feel like most orgs are like

yeah this number's meaningless there's nobody associated with it who matters and then you have

the Seattle mariners who probably need to retire this number twice because two of the most important players

in org history, Randy Johnson and Ichiro Suzuki, both wore 51 during their years in Seattle.

So I don't know.

Other than those two, there's just not a lot.

You have this one single year from Chris Sale.

Where do you get pictures like that?

I would hate to be paying most of that guy's contract and get back a guy who's barely played this year.
