Anyway, yeah, it was a place that I bought as my first home. You know, so many years I was playing for the Raiders. It was crazy because, you know, everybody would give me bad time because I was living in a little condo out in Alameda. They were like you're wasting your money renting man you need to buy a house it's like the best

investment out there and I was just like I don't know I'm not ready man you know

and years would go by they'd always give me a bad time one time even I ordered

some pizza and the delivered driver came in and he, you know, stepped in and all that stuff.

And he's looking around and he's looking at me. He's looking around, looking at me.

He's like, you're Kenny Shid, right? He plays for the Raiders, right?

I'm like, yeah. He's big freaking mansion. I mean, you know, and I told him, it was like, dude, I keep it simple, bro.

But that kind of stayed with me.

Not that I felt that I needed to go out and buy a house because of a delivery driver or nothing like that.

But it was just all kind of like I was been hearing those stories for so many years.

So in 2000, I finally made the move. You know, I felt

comfortable. And I found a home out in San Leandro. And I said, you know what? It's time.

Big, big five-bedroom house sits right there on the corner. If anybody's familiar with San

Leandro, this little sect of homes there, about eight or so. If you weren't looking for it,

you drive right by that little road that you take to get in there to where the homes are.

And, you know, but it sits right off there of Doolittle in Marina. So my real
