You know what? I felt I had to come in like that for a lot of different reasons.

Number one, DMX was one of the best freaking rap singers that came out and he came fierce.

Most of his songs and lyrics were just on point and just came with a punch. And he was entertainer in heart and he could really, really get the crowd pumped up and all that stuff.

The only problem is though that every time I listen to a DMX song,

it reminds me of someone who I played with and he was very dear friend,

just a bright, bright star.

Tim Hall was a running back who the Raiders selected back either 96 or 97.

When I first started kind of getting going with the team,

he was selected in the sixth round, really small school, but this guy had this personality that

was like bigger than anything, really. It's almost like he knew he might not have, you know,

gone to the big time schools like in Notre Dame or something like that.

But, you know, he made his mark. And here he is, drafted as a raider. And Tim Hall was a,

was a fantastic guy. He had these, he had this wicked ability to just be cool, right? Just had

this hardcore look. But then when he started talking, he would just laugh as he's talking.

And it'd make you laugh too

like even the simplest stories he was a great great guy he would for whatever reason he started

call me shed dead dead and i started looking forward to that man and you know when i'd see him like

at practice and stuff like that i probably wouldn't walk off him too i'm like hey and then i'd look at him
