I know a lot of you go on Instagram and Facebook was certainly not all of you, so I thought I'd update you.

I went up Friday to get him acclimated.

I wanted him to see the field and the water.

He was going to swim at and things like that.

And, you know, it felt pretty good going in, but he's been running in his home grounds and you never know.

Dogs, he's a different field.

He can act different, run different, do anything different.

Because contest day, it's test day.

You know, you think you know what your dog's going to do, but it doesn't always pan out that way.

Well, my expectations were exceeded.

So, yeah, he got 112 points in a prize one.

I'll tell you though, it was not easy because I had my moments.

First of all, it's been a long time since I ran anybody else's dog in a breeding.

From, you know, from a dog I purchased.

You know, for most part, I bred some of my own wire hairs, had short hairs before that, the Broncos.

You know, yeah, I imported a couple of dogs, but, you know, that wasn't like they were trying to get, you know, the database from nav to the, you know, they were from overseas.

So, anyway, I was a little nervous.

I was nervous just like when I used to cross my fingers when somebody ran one of my puppies in the test.

So, the day before, there was an extra, there was a Friday test, and I was there for the Saturday test.

And they brought a peasant back in the crate that was kind of injured and didn't make a good tracking bird earlier in a day.
